What happened to Nokris?
Last we saw of the necromancer they were pledging fealty to Savathûn and proceeded to try and intervene between us and the darkness. After that it seems they disappeared. I wonder if Nokris is going to play a part in the upcoming events, especially since we are heading back to Mars. Thoughts?
Edit: I realize that we killed them in the season of the arrivals, but with throne worlds and ascendency and such, are they ACTUALLY dead, or is it a ruse?

4 RepliesDead. Killed him at the end of Season of Arrivals. Only question is whether he's only temporarily dead....or permanently dead. We don't know if he has a throne world, or if his necromancy might bring him back again.

2 RepliesSo throne world is a weird term I think. In the books of sorrow, Xivu and Savathun were killed in Oryx’s throne and it said they died true deaths. I think (correct me if I’m wrong) it’s less about killing them in a throne world and more about killing them in the ascendant realm to cause a true death.

Sorry i lost, i just suck... *sits down and starts pouting* Savathun: hahaha, i knew you was weak, that is why i had you babysit XOL, and you even failed at that... *looks at YOU*~ **well hello there guardian... i see you looking back at nokris's memories ERIS MORN... you see i killed Nokris, he was too weak.. i used him just to see what you are capable of... the time is getting near, and i will be FREE... my question to you is.. We killed him in the ascendant plane. Granted that isn't his throne world, but then again we don't know what happens with necromancers. We do know though that it isn't unheard of to have a throne world by working with the darkness. It is entirely possible he may return if it turns out this was the case, but it's something we don't know. Until he gets used again? Assume him dead.

We kill him in the ascendant plane, We also killed Xol the worm that Nokris served. Nokris was the heretic to sword logic, for this reason the other top Hive abandoned him and cast him out. I don't see why any of the Hive would need him, it would be better for the Hive if they bring back Crota or Omnigul. I don't see why anyone would need Nokris, but who knows, maybe Eris wants to get freaky with a Hive...

I think she just left him. Last I remember hearing Savvy basically told Nokris that he had out lived his usefulness and would no longer be aiding her.

Depends, with Xol dead, i'm not sure if he can come back through any other means than necromancy, but a hive or worm god definitely could revive him for whatever reason they need him for I'm pretty sure he didn't have a throne world on account of him being exiled from everyone hive related except for Xol so hes not coming back through normal means thats for sure
