Gonna start to do teaching raids or just straight carries soon. I'd prefer teaching since then you can help other groups in the future.

Good of you to offer. It is great people offer this to other players. But for me the only thing I'm interested in right now is Master Grasp of Avarice to get artiface armor with the extra slot for mods.

13 RepliesI asked to be taught GOS. Only time was able to get someone to help, we finally got squad together made it past 2 encounter and was kicked. I was told just try not to die and we'll carry you. Wasn't explained the mechanics and kept making us wipe not being where I needed or not killing who I needed to and never got to get the exotic

8 RepliesThe biggest issue with D2 Raids Elitism & Revive tokens The D2 normal mode raids need to revert to D1 style (no revive tokens & constant wipe mechanics) Bring back the [b]hero[/b] moments that allowed a player to just survive until their teammates could revive or be revived Makes the raid more about fun, moments & having a go (not fearing messing up for everyone) Instead of hearing D2’s famous line “That’s a wipe” & the mutterings of doubt in the background Make them far more accessible & likely to be run by the 98% of players that avoid Raids (I personally barely run raids due to heavy schedules, & dexterity/pain management “modifiers” Leave all the revive & hard mode stuff for the elites who demand “[i]777 flawless clears[/i]” on LFG (to find out they’re all looking for carries) Oh & radically helpful ideas 3.0303% progress each Raid [i]Final Boss[/i] clear (leaves a minimum of 33 clears before the Exotic reward) & when you’ve already had the exotic drop (this no longer needing it) allow it to be gifted to some one on the [b]raid[/b] team (makes no sense to let it drop multiple times for 1 player) Weapon & Armour focusing (earn tokens on completions of sections & allow for 2x weapon perks & armour spikes to be targeted

2 RepliesI've yet to complete the Prophecy and Grasp of Avarice dungeon and haven't raided any D2 raid since Leviathan. The most recent raid I've done was VoG and that was because I had prior experience and wanted Vex since I didn't get it in D1. I usually shy away from raids because I'm not a Meta player. I play with what I am comfortable using.

If Bungie's loot system was designed like D1 to where most weapons/gear actually worked across the entire board. Then I might have had an incentive to want to run the raids, but D2 loot system is literally garbage.

Not me unfortunately, not really into raids. And when I did I had a few fire team members (Who I don’t know and only met once) who were bullying not only me but this other guy because we didn’t know what we were doing! Plus their attitude was enough to make anyone’s liver fail. Another I had this thong/dungaree wearing deep voiced redneck (YeeHaw) who was the bossiest guy I’ve met! He shouted at everyone who made a simple mistake.

I only ever finished DSC a couple times and GOS once. Only because I was invited. They needed a 6th and didn't care about my raid noob status. But I was just an emergency alternate as I can't get into that group unless one drops lol.

7 RepliesUnfortunately, a Statistically inordinate amount of people on pc have not completed a raid, or, attempted to do so. This is sadly due to LFG being a web/ app rather than being integrated into the game, or, designing raids of lower difficulty to include context cues to teach the raid mechanics after a worlds first run is completed. A massive oversight by the team, raid's are not that complex, simply need better systems of organizing and informing users.

I'm a Lil older player and my reaction times are not as good as they used to be. I've been trying to do some quest and I'm not strong enough to solo them, but I still try and try and have fun while doing it.
