You win, racist gamer tags are okay, but spotty internet is ban worthy offense.
You can keep PVP. The few nice players aren’t enough to salvage this game mode for me. My dad was right, video games were much better a long time ago. How no one sees the blatant racist gamer tags is beyond me, maybe they just ignore them because it’s not a serious offense… like a bad internet connection.

Tbh, people with bad connections bother me much more than racist names. I don't even pay attention to names most of the time.

I’d rather look at mean words instead of watching you teleport 5 feet every 2 seconds.

1. Your dad is stuck in the past. I too loved old games but are they better? Nah. 2. Racist names can be reported. 3. Bad connections can be reported.

I report both bad connections and racist usernames/clans on sight. One is highly detrimental to my enjoyment of the game, the other doesnt really upset me as I'm never the target but I despise racists nonetheless and inconveniencing them in any way at all is satisfying.

Nothing makes me happier than someone malding they can't play pvp anymore because they purposely play with terrible internet.

Gamertags are not bungies problem. They are up to Sony/ Microsoft to take action. Playing their game with bad connection is something that is dealt with by bungie.

Report them to your platform be that Microsoft, Steam, Stadia, or Playstation. As that is where they make those names. Millions and millions if not billions of names are out there and it takes time by reporting them they are dealt with quicker. Bad connections are reported to Bungie. Bungie has started by removing racist and names that break their Code of Conduct that is why we are seeing so many "Guardians" around it will not happen overnight and some people will always be racist that is the sad part of all this. But they are trying and we need to help them.

Rocket league, destiny, apex, cod. Kids think they’re funny, and gaming company and the beta boys who work for them don’t really care to do anything about it. Too many yes men in the gaming industry
