Nope. You have weapons with all the mods they are going to have. The game moves on and so does the loot. You want the new mods you play the game and earn them like you would to obtain the new loot from any new dlc the weapon forge or not. Nothing is stopping you from using the old stuff as it is not being sunsetted or given a power cap. It's just they will be out of date like when Bungie introduced the weapons 2.0 update and later armour 2.0 update. Now we are getting the weapon 3.0 update. Ps. Come on are you getting board with using all the same items season after season. Time for something new to try out.
