Destiny 2 FPS massive drops
Lately I'm having low fps especially in outdoor areas. I have never had problems with my laptop in this game. At the beggining of the 30th Anniversary event everything was running smooth at stable 60 FPS. But suddenly from one day to another its laggy and unplayable. I tried everything (Update drivers, check file integrity of the game, reinstalled the game, Nvidia 3D settings, check my internet connection, but nothing). For your information, in the lost sectors everything goes smoothly and I have no problem. Crucible is also unplayable as I get 30-40 fps. I saw that these FPS drops could be due to the Battleye Anti Cheat. I really hope I can find a solution for this as I want to enjoy The Witch Queen properly.

Are you on PC? Maybe experiment with the quality settings.

Unfortunately, the 30th Anniversary update has really screwed up the game. Enemies are teleporting constantly, champions randomly come back to life, Gambit crashing, and even worse cross-play lag on PvP. Hopefully we get a hot fix before WQ rolls out.

I am going to be realistic, we have been like this for more than a year and they are not going to solve it, it is very possible that before they put the keyboard and mouse compatible in console that solve the massive fps drops. it is worth mentioning that they have not pronounced on any of the two, they have only said that they are going to put an hdr mode that does not solve the problem, so my advice is that you save for a more powerful pc.

7 RepliesJust think you could have avoided this by buying a 500 dollar console instead of playing on a laptop. You get what you pay for in this case. The new consoles are beating the processing power of some top tier pc's. I will always agree pc is the best of all but for 500 dollars a console that kills most pc or buy a laptop, no brainer to me but maybe I was built different

yeah i hope they fix fps too , the biggest problem is d2 using a lot of cpu but very little gpu , i don't have the best gpu for gaming but switched from gtx950 to a gtx1070 and i have the same fps is so stupid , especially when the game use like 50% of the gpu lmfao
