So long as Microsoft has control of CoD, they get to make the rules. Sony won’t change any current games to being/having exclusives if it means that Microsoft can just make CoD an exclusive in retaliation.
D2 is small potatoes compared to the potential losses they’d take over losing CoD. Maybe see a weapon ornament or cosmetic, but nothing gameplay related.

You can have it, but it’s an Activision game who were bought by Microsoft. All I’m trying to say is that I don’t think Sony would start another exclusives war. At least not right now.

For now maybe, but they’re owned by Blizzard which was recently bought by Microsoft. I’m just making a hypothetical right here. There are plenty of other games that Microsoft could hold over people’s heads.
