It should all be on 1 platform, or all of it on all one platform. I do not like exclusive this and that.

The game is already full of 'exclusives' except instead of platform they're tied to when you played. Campaigns, strikes, crucible maps, gambit maps, legendary weapons and armour sets, most cosmetics all tied to the period you played.
