Postmaster Loses My Stacks of Ascendant Shards, Prisms, Treasure Keys, and Strange Coins
Yesterday evening, friends and I were reading through the January 20th, 2022 TWAB and found the entry regarding Bashee-44. I had over 42,000 Gunsmith Materials that will be removed on February 22, 2022 if not redeemed in advance of The Witch Queen. I began harvesting these materials with Banshee-44 by moving all unequipped weapons to my vault. Things were going well the first few cycles and then my friends wanted to ru-blam!- Nightfall. I completed the last recycling making sure the postmaster held on those four full stacks of ascendant shards (only 9), prisms (50), treasure keys (21), and strange coins (30). After successfully completing the playlist activity I returned to find a single strange coin and two prisms at the postmaster. WTF JUST HAPPENED. I kept saying "WOW" so much my friends told me to watch a YouTube video of actor Owen Wilson saying the word. This distraction helped calm me a bit but I was still saying "wow" afterwards trying to figure out how the hell this could have happened. Please - PLEASE - tell me that Bungie is aware of this issue and they can return my lost babies. There is simply no reason they would have wondered off or been abandoned. They need to come home immediately. Please help!!!!

1 Reply[quote]Bungie has stated on so many occasions, DO NOT use the postmaster for storage or you risk losing items, This is avoidable if you just used an app like Dim or Ishtar where you can drag items from your postmaster to your character and then dismantle them. The post master isn’t storage bungie has stated that in the past and they will also not restore any items either

Now you are SERIOUSLY asking them to return something that you were aware you could lose? It has been stated MANY times in the forums since 2016 that the Postmaster is NOT vault space and should not be treated as such. It has also been stated plenty of times that Bungie will not restore lost items.
