Switching to PS5 for Witch Queen

Hey I would like to go from Xbox One to PS5 for Witch Queen since Destiny runs terribly on Xbox One. I have Forsaken and Shadowkeep on Xbox and I'm trying to figure out what I lose switching over and not buying all the expansions. I really don't care about the campaigns but would like to be able to still play the raids and having the destinations.

  • When you purchase a DLC, you are purchasing a license to use on that platform it is tied to your platform, not your Bungie account. So you need to own the DLCs on each platform. Season passes will share between platforms.

  • Hi there. The destinations are available to patrol for all players regardless of expansion ownership. They typically unlock after progression through the New Light quest or from XP. But raids require their respective DLC, so if you don't purchase the Forsaken Pack or Shadowkeep on PlayStation, you won't be able to play Last Wish or Garden of Salvation, respectively. You will also lose access to the middle tree subclasses if you don't purchase at least one of the major expansions (Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, Witch Queen).
