While correlation is not causation, the common denominator has always been Xbox. Don't have issue with PC, and obviously no issues with other PS players. But whenever Xbox gets involved, more issues than not.
From what I can gather, it's an issue on Xbox side - not the players, but Xbox's network as a whole

Disagree fully I play on ps or steam and ps is pretty much garbage there is consistent teleporting and MAJOR latency issues

destiny 2 on Pc runs off of Microsoft servers even through steam so PC to Xbox runs smoother then PS but not the point of the battle. the battle is getting everyone playing together to have dedicated servers to play together instead of have baked lobby connections. This is a basic internet send receive from server to server. PlayStation runs a different protocol when it comes to there online gaming then Xbox and PC. that's why there's errors in that way, and we cant discount our friends over at stadia. who are probably in the worst situations when it comes to this due to them streaming the game and trying to connect to the servers at the same time for PVP. This is what I read. I had only 1 time a strange behavior with a PS player. Otherwise everything runs smoothly with me (XBOX). But here there are certainly problems that must be addressed at the level Bungie <> Microsoft <> Sony.

Uh no. It’s just the opposite console to whatever you’re playing on. PS is atrocious when I’m on my Xbox. I have PS Bungie friends who can’t stand playing on Xbox lobbies. It’s not one way traffic.

Right, which is why PSN works with PC, but even PC players complain about Xbox - seems like you have your information mixed up. I switched to PS because Xbox had nothing but issues with multiplayer games in spite of having the same internet connection. Never had a network issue since
