We never make choices and there won’t be a mission where we can die off.
We also won’t loose Stasis for the new subclass when it comes out.

Ahem, RED WAR HAS A NEAR DIE OFF PART IN FIRST MISSION
-
Uh huh. Near die off means you didn’t die and it wasn’t a narrative choice either. So doesn’t apply.
-
Ah but we do make choices, not major ones but impactful ones nonetheless, these usually take form of gear sets Occasionally it implies a process or an area itself All was hypothetical of course, bluntly saying "No" instead of being constructive and brain storming is a little dull admittedly, id hoped for more hypothesis and potentially other people's analysis of the event
-
I’m not sure what you mean by gear sets being a choice.
-
Well we've got options for both style and mods, bout as best I can put it sry lol
-
Oh you mean choosing what equipment? Yeah sure lol the idea was more about narrative choices. The linear nature of the game wouldn’t be a problem if our Guardian had some personality or anything to explain their choices or lack their of.
-
I agree, though I simply feel the possibility behind a choice being given at some point being quite the dramatic one if it were added, the point in being a guardian was to "become legend" and though we have, I ponder what bred need for our tomb
-
Actually you know, there was a choice. I remember. Back when Aunor was investigating the Drifter. You picked to either help her or help him. The voice mails you traveled around to pick up differed. People thought it’d have something to do with a schism in Guardian ranks about using Darkness power.

Perhaps it will ultimately tie into the fate of gambit and the hopeful reveal of its purpose in the universe

The Nine were trying new ways to manifest things in the material plane. Their ultimate goal is to shed their planetary bodies and break their dependence on us. They’ve been slowing working their way up in the lore. Gambit was a major step up. Drifter had learned some control over the Taken when they approached him with the Gambit pitch as a mutual deal. Currently Drifter will use it to make an army of Taken to defend himself with against the Darkness. The Nine are doing their scheming but we don’t know anything. Might just be a step that’s referenced when they achieve it. ‘With what we gained/learned from Gambit we were able to blah blah’
