You shouldn’t be surprised.
Look at how long PVP has been neglected and still hasn’t been talked about.
Their focus is Trials, Eververse and bringing content back from D1.
Even Collections has remained untouched which could have easily been a solution for vault problems.

Yeah, it’s just when I think of neglect I would point to Gambit over the past year. No new maps, no tuning for the mode, any sandbox updates that affected Gambit happened indirectly instead of targeting the Gambit experience directly. By comparison Crucible has gotten far more attention.
-
Yes they both have been neglected but Crucible has been in the game longer. Neglect is neglect no matter how you spin it. Both need changes and that’s all I care about.
-
Trials is not PvP?
-
What????? Trials is a component of PVP but it is being used as a frontline for PVP while the other components are being neglected. This is why Trials got addressed first before the components that have been in the game since the beginning of D2. Imagine if Comp and all the variations of Quickplay would have gotten addressed with redesigns for maps to fit the appropriate mode or playlists, the cancer that is happening in Control wouldn’t be a factor.

Edited by Spawn Of Apathy: 1/27/2022 8:38:08 PMRight, but because they do addresses Trials they are addressing PvP. Just not every aspect of PvP. Some of the sandbox tuning they’ve done specifically targeted PvP. But yes, other modes haven’t really been touched outside of increasing respawn times, and there hasn’t been a new map in, like what, 2 years. But thats not the same thing as PvP being neglected. They’ll even disable exotics or emotes if they break PvP bad enough. Maybe you feel they’re not doing enough for PvP, or you don’t like that they have actually done for PvP. But again, that’s not the same as neglect.

Edited by hate n payne: 1/27/2022 10:10:01 PMYou idea of neglect is different from mine and that is understandable. When the core activities of PVP aren’t reaching a potential you know they can achieve, it is a problem. I mean think about how Comp and the Quickplay variations are the similar in terms of the rank structure and the loot. No real rewards for reaching certain ranks and no different between the reward structure. There is no structure to keep the casual or even tryhards in a fun experience they desire.

Yea, let’s let people pull random rolls from collections. Sounds like a totally balanced feature. Lol.
-
Who said anything about pulling random rolls from Collections??? The fact you assume that showcases how brainless you are in critical thinking. I will explain my concept around using Collections as a means of fixing vault issues since you can’t brainstorm well enough. Collections could simply be revamped to put all old sunsetted or collected content as well as previous collected inside it. Current content should be stored inside the vault itself. The current Collection system is outdated and serves no purpose at all for the current state of the game.
-
You are literally the one who brought up pulling from the collections as a solution to vault space, which started this whole conversation. Lol. 🤡🤡
-
And you are still clueless to what was said and the ideals behind what I meant. Imagine thinking you are outsmarting someone when you can’t even comprehend the conversation nor debate it with actual rebuttal.
-
I get your point that some things are obviously a priority for Bungie over what you think needs to be fixed. I also get the fact that you provided a terrible example of an easy fix, which in reality is inherently flawed. Imagine thinking you're outsmarting someone when you're lack of self awareness and arrogance don't allow you to realize you proposed a terrible and ill conceived solution for vault space.
-
Edited by hate n payne: 1/24/2022 4:50:56 PMSure you think that but there are plenty of people who I have spoken with who think differently and I am quite sure they are much more engaging and smarter than you. Anyone who assumes any idea is a terrible idea doesn’t understand the concept that learning via mistakes equal success eventually. There isn’t one person in the world who created an idea off the first attempt.
-
Speaking to people inside your echo chamber who only validate your opinions while tossing ad homenims at those who don't isn't learning via mistakes or even having a discussion about the topic. Unless every weapon stored in collections is a god roll from lord RNGesus himself, no one will delete their good rolls from their vault, therefore invalidating the whole point to begin with and not solving the problem of vault space. If every weapon in collections IS a god roll, people will just unlock the weapon... then pull the god roll from collections. This required literally 30 seconds of critical thinking but hey, what do I know because "the people you talk to" agree with you. Lol.
-
Edited by hate n payne: 1/24/2022 5:06:49 PMYou aren’t even looking at it from the standpoint as I am though. I didn’t say anything about players deleting anything. I said “Collected” content should be stored inside Collections from previous seasons so the vault can be used for current seasons. Even if they put a limited number of god rolls inside the Collections, at least those collected content can be taken out when needed by the player. Right now players who are considered “hoarders” see the problem that is in the vault and Collections and understand quite well what would happen if something they spent countless hours on was deleted, there is no means for them to get that content back. If someone has a god roll that was stored in Collections, they have every right to able to pull it out at will because they grinded for it. You are acting like I am saying if a player didn’t grind for it, they should be able pull a god roll out from Collections which I am not even saying at all. You are one of those people who probably believe that if you don’t play Trials and make it flawless, you aren’t considered skilled in this game. The fact that Xur and other vendors has a possibility of having a god roll is already happening in the game and even I find that stupid. Every weapon and every piece of armor should be grinded for however you should have somewhere to store it besides the Vault.
-
They could have a default/fixed roll of each legendary weapon unlocked in Collections - LIKE THEY ALREADY HAVE WITH EXOTIC ARMOR
-
Exotic armor can't roll random perks. Also, who's going to delete their well rolled weapon to pull a trash roll from collections later. This idea makes zero sense. Not the big brained take you think this is homie.
-
Edited by GrayWolf: 1/23/2022 10:46:17 AM1. Exotic Armor has random stats & element but you can choose to delete the item and instead pull the default fixed version with low/avg stats from Collections 2. There are already fixed rolls retrievable in Collections for certain Curated/Ritual/Quest legendary weapons it's just an extension of that It's not perfect but it's an enhancement to the current system - every Legendary weapon would in effect have a curated roll expanding the use of Collections. What good is a collection item that just says "Randomized items cannot be retrieved"?
-
We had curated rolls and the community complained. You can’t have it both ways.
-
Yet they are still there and retrievable in Collections for 777 Glimmer & 7 Legendary Shards. Your point is moot
-
Lol. You don’t have a point. You’re equating not having enough vault space for good rolls to trash static rolls in collections.
