I upgraded my son from an XBox One X to a Series X for Christmas. Ever since, my son has not been able to log into D2. A Centipede error is given every single time, and it seems to be around the time he is able to select his character.
Troubleshooting suggests resetting the router. We run a wired connection to his machine, but reset the router anyways. Still no change. We uninstalled & reinstalled all of D2 on the internal SSD. Still no change. Double checked that all router settings are correct for the new Series X (open ports & addresses.) Still no change.
Prior to hooking up the Series X, we had moved all installed games to an external drive and then moved the appropriate games onto the internal drive. So we tried unplugging the external drive to make sure it wasn't trying to access that for save data, thus causing a slowage compared to the SSD. Still no change.
No issues are happening with any other games he plays online at all. And I have no problems running D2 on my Series X. Help.
