When loading into an activity I am experiencing extremely long wait times that almost always end with me getting kicked due to error code "Beet".
no one in my group is experiencing this issue - mix of pc/ ps5/ ps4 players.
issue began after bungies regular scheduled maintenance Tuesday January 18 2022.
TROUBLESHOOTING...
*not all were done in the order listed*
Ran a speedtest (getting 300mbps down)
Rebooted the modem (temporary improvement)
Refreshed my ip address
PC Hard reboot (shutdown + unplug pwr cable)
Validated d2 game files in steam
Bypassed my gigabit switch (direct hardwire from router to pc)
No ongoing maintenance (bungie or steam)
Win11 is UTD
GPU drivers are UTD
Updated to Googles DNS: 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 (IPv4)
NAT type is currently moderate/ 2
Game works fine on girlfriends ps5 (same network) - NAT type 2... 87.3mbps down

Uninstalled realtek LAN card > Rebooted and updated
Can anyone please help me?

1 ReplyTry this tester: https://www.fusionconnect.com/speed-test-plus It gives a bit more info. I recently updated my NIC driver on my PC and that seemed to help the D2 connection issues a little. I am still tempted to change my player name to "ATTENTION: Contacting Destiny 2 Servers" :-)

2 RepliesWhen I have serious bad problems I log out of the PS network and then log back in. I see you have a PC can you log out off your game service and log back in.

1 ReplyWhile trying this post I was in a fireteam with a buddy who flew us into a gambit match. Game was in progress about 3/4's done - he loaded in finished the game while I sat on a black loading screen until we were back in orbit.
