One Enhancement Core Is not Rewarding.
Stop.
Spending 17 minutes in a Nightfall (missing one Champion, granted--not my fault, though, blueberries nuked the Ogre boss before I could kill the Champion), just to get ONE Enhancement Core on DOUBLE REWARDS is not fun, satisfactory, or rewarding gameplay.
Either commit to rewards, or don't. This is insanity.
Same goes for Legend/Master Lost Sectors. In no realm should [b]ONE[/b] Enhancement Core be consider ample rewards for clearing all Champions. At least do +3 or +5, or scale rewards based on how many lives the Player has left. Reward the player for performing well and mastering the Lost Sector.
Gold Tier rewards for a Nightfall should at least be +5 Enhancement Cores and a Legendary piece of Vanguard armor or something.
Anything would be better than [b]ONE[/b] Enhancement Core.

2 RepliesYou can get piles of enhancement cores just by turning materials at Banshee! Shouldn't be a reward for a lost sector. Again, this is another tactic by Bungie to make their investors happy. Activities like this log play time, and that's what investors want.

5 RepliesNothing about this game feels rewarding. The amount of work players put into this game just to have a chance at something that, more often than not, will go into their vault and be forgotten about is utter crap. So many weapons and armor pieces, legendary and exotic alike, just go into a vault. You'll keep a couple out but there's no reason to play with most of them. Your reward in this game is hours upon hours of time you'll never get back. You get to collect a bunch of stuff. You do not get to build your characters your way. You cannot work toward a certain weapon that fits your play-style and build to make you stronger. You cannot work toward a certain piece of armor that fits your play-style and build to make you stronger. What you can do is collect a bunch of stuff that will reside in your vault and gather up a bunch of armor mods so you can use one or two specific loadouts you saw on YouTube that actually are effective while any other loadouts are useless or close to it. So, if you're not about putting in hours upon hours to collect some stuff, most of which you won't use, or if you get bored of only playing 90-minutes of new campaign material then falling into the "pinnacle grind" just to raise a number higher then this game offers you nothing. If you're happy playing the same five activities endlessly then power to ya but I like games I can go out and explore and experience and still be rewarded for my time, from the biggest to the smallest. F*** Bungie and this game.

3 RepliesLmao so matchmaking activities that give out hordes of cores.. yea can't see that being farmed at all.. and by farmed I mean afk farmed.. because eventually the people it matches you with are gonna finish it..

Ive always thought a good solution is to allow currencies to be exchanged down the currency ladder. we can all exchange up the ladder for prisms and shards but it would nice to be able to go down that ladder as well. I believe it would give prisms and shards more value to a player and a good way to break up maxed out stacks of some materials. You could see 10 shards say to yourself 'thats 1000 cores that I could use.' Shards and prisms wouldn't JUST be for armor but able to be broken down for cores; usable for weapons and upgrade modules of course.

Anything would be better than [b]ONE[/b] Enhancement Core.[/quote] Bungie: Okay we understand and have heard your feedback, we will now be adding in a revamped enhancement system where you need 10 small cores to make 1 normal Enhancement core and you will be getting 5 of these at the end of your nightfalls, and to balance the new change we will be adding in a new Champion type “Invincible” you will have to play around this new enemy as it is unkillable it will only show up at the boss and can only spawn as the highest ranking enemy so Brig, Ogre, Gladiator, Taken Ogre, Wyvern good luck guardians

ONE Enhancement Core is not enough of a reward incentive for ANY activity. Whether that be lost sectors, raids, nightfalls, dungeons, etc. It does not matter. If I spend my time grinding this activity, mastering it, only to get something that I can get from a BOUNTY, why should I care about this activity? Bungie needs to severely revamp their reward structure if they are going to make the upgrade economy the center point of end game. But I realize I just need to get good or something and stop complaining, I know. Sucks to suck.

2 RepliesI’m just tired of nightfall weapons being so rare (yes I know they drop more on higher difficulty). I would be fine with it if they where actually good weapons. Like why would I want a hung jury or hot head this week if neither of those are even that good

Killing those ogres shouldn't despawn the champions imo. Happened to me today with an lfg group, same thing, and I just left on the spot.
