I have never seen so many people leave crucible matches. Every game 1-2 players leave and I have done a 1v6 and a 2v6.
I leave when I see people teleporting across the map that is not fun to play against.
PvP is not in a good place right now.

This is what happens when you allow F2P and a bunch of salty New Lights who have no business in this game

Honestly I think it's more of the issues with crossplay and the shitty 1990s peer to peer networking that's hurting it the most. Followed by the lack of game modes, loot incentives, and overall weapon balancing and you can see why anyone with half of a brain would go play something else like Halo for their PvP fix

I've never had issues with Crossplay, so I think it's an individual problem. I agree, p2p is outdated, but from what I've been told by people who understand this whole networking and server stuff, dedicated servers would need to be region specific, and would not be cost efficient. Therefore, from a cost analysis, the costs would outweigh the benefits. Don't pounce on me about it - I have a very limited comprehension of this stuff, and I've complained about it for years, and that's how it was relayed to me

Honestly local dedicated server's would up their costs a bit but honestly the amount of money that they are raking in from Eververse could probably cover the cost in less than a months worth of it. It's more of it's a, they don't care about it scenerio, since they are working on their new Matter IP. Honestly the amount of time that Destiny seems to be on a how little can we do anything and still milk our player base gives me very little incentive to be interested in anything else Bungie makes. It also gives me little incentive to buy Witch Queen especially with sunsetting still going on.
