I understand that Full Auto Trigger System is going to become an accessibility option once Witch Queen comes out. I'm curious what will happen to weapons that have Full Auto Trigger.
I understand that the perk might just be useless and you'll have to re-farm weapons that have it to get a useful perk in that slot now, but what makes me ask the question is that there are some Exotics with this perk. Will those Exotics get something different to compensate? Or will the perk just go away entirely and leave those weapons with an empty slot?
For example No Time To Explain has Full Auto Trigger System as a perk and Traveler's Chosen has it on the catalyst. Since No Time To Explain isn't a random farm weapon I'm curious what'll happen to that now useless perk slot. And I'm curious if Traveler's Chosen will get something else on it's catalyst now that two effects are being essentially reduced to one effect + one redundant effect.

2 RepliesI actually want to know if I can take it OFF guns that have it. Like Travellers Chosen. I much prefer pistols that don’t fire in full auto.

As I understand it, that option will be for Legendary weapons as it is now. Exotics will remain the same. I imagine we will have to reaquire weapons with full auto already on them. Then again, maybe weapon crafting will solve that.

I really hope they change No Time To Explain full auto to Rapid Hit.

14 RepliesEdited by Dredgen Araphel: 1/12/2022 11:25:54 PMThe perk is not useless I want it to be built in on some guns so I can use something else. For example 450 sides are burst weapons so I want counterbalance to congest the shots with auto built in I can. On my lonesome I want my damage perks and support but I want full auto, thats where the mod comes in. Everyone doesn't need a caveat the value is clear as day. Full auto on an exotic doesn't take away from the gun. Vigilance would be alot slowr and was bad without its catalyst and same with bad juju.

4 RepliesIt’s possible it may stay a perk on both exotics and in perk pools, and here’s why. You may want one gun to have full auto but not another. I’d be fine with three options. Perk on the weapon, mod that can be equipped on the weapon, enabling the accessibility feature.

1 ReplyReally the only one affected is Vigilance Wing as it's catalyst only gives full auto. Travellers Chosen also gets osmosis which is way more useful than the full auto bit.

The perks on the exotics and weapons will change. Same thing they did with mida they changed the cat. Same thing they did with felwinter's and any aggressive frame shotgun with quickdraw they changed them.
-
Perk will get replaced with something else

I’m guessing it’s going to get the drop mag treatment whenever infinite primary ammo became a thing. The perk will be changed/buffed on weapons that already have it, and removed from the loot pool for weapons. I don’t have a clue how this will happen, but given that bungie has been generally improving on perks I doubt they will leave it as is.

Personally never considered that. My guess is that nothing will happen

2 RepliesEdited by Guardian: 1/12/2022 12:58:38 AMIt’s a cool mod and not upset they implemented it but I would’ve I like to see a rapid fire mod instead.

1 ReplyEdited by Dardex: 1/12/2022 12:51:24 AMIt's already out. It's a mod not a setting and only on semi-automatic weapons with a higher rate of fire (like 180 handcannons) that can cause hand pain for some people firing the weapon as fast as they can
