PvP is full of cheaters
your best response is probably to delete this topic. But unfortunately that will not solve the issue. PvP is a playground for the ones with cheats. Battleye is a joke and so are the ones that abuse this game.

Couldnt agree more, the game is 5 years of CHARADE OF FPS 80% server CHEATING HARDCORE And BUNGIE is braging how they won some lawsuits vs cheating companies, HALF THE POPULATION IS CHEATING!

2 RepliesI know this is an old thread and I’ll likely never come back to see the reply’s but, here’s a quick link to a YouTube video that was posted 6 hours ago blatantly selling cheats. Hopefully it’s just some sort of a virus or at least bundled with one. https://youtu.be/RdlGyo0TBOY Barely any views yet but, it’s out there. It’s definitely real. Also, I never understand why these boards are filled with people either downplaying or trying to convince others that cheating isn’t real. Instead of playing the game and slaying out with your mad skills, you are in a thread like this acting snarky? It doesn’t make sense. The defending cheating or trying to shout down people discussing is a clear admission of guilt. Why else would you even be on this thread or searching for these threads. It’s weird.

9 RepliesBig companies like MS and Sony need to find way to make all devices that are use to cheat with more detectables and all those macros identified and removed. Makers of Cronusmax/ Zen, Titan ll, and Xim need to be shut down for good since they don't understand the moral of what cheatings are. I think big companies like MS and Sony should also help get with game developers to help stomp out cheaters. Give cheaters the permaban once those software with cheating codes and macros detected and any prepheral devices that use macros get detected. When cheaters cheat, all they are doing is lying to themselves about how good they are and to inflate their false egos. And pissing off other players who are just clean and honest players who just want to play games and follow game devs guideline and rules on how to play the companies' games. [spoiler]If anyone wants to cheat or continue to cheat, they should immediately turn off their game and go outsite and go touch some grass. [/spoiler]

It won't stop because there isn't a monetary gain for companies to stop them. You could argue that people will stop buying the games, but that isn't happening. These companies are marketing firms with big bucks to do the data analysis behind what I'm saying. Of course, that data could be skewed since there isn't a way to track why someone quit the game. Most of the guys here saying "git gud" in their passive-aggressive way are posting on fake accounts with no stats or game history. Would you rather a company use its finite resources to create more content or attempt (in vain, in my opinion) to stop a fraction of a percentage of DBags who choose to cheat in a video game? I'll take the content and try not to think about the latter. For those saying it's not possible to cheat on console, do a 30-second google search. It's a somewhat convoluted process, but it's possible without "jailbreaking" your console. No one jailbreaks stuff anymore; by the way, this isn't 2012. I'd like to also point out that there are just some people that are absolutely disgustingly good at these games. I'm 41. My nine-year-old son can build a six-stack tower on Fortnite, fall down, and 360 headshot someone while building at the same time to avoid fall damage. If I didn't see it with my own eyes I would say he was cheating. my 14-year-old son has gone on 30-40 killstreaks in overwatch public games, and is an Apex predator on console (Apex), and does ridiculously stupid things that my hands and brain just can't comprehend. Last night I watched him take a zipline - headshot two guys then change direction and kill a third guy in under 10 seconds. Again, if I didn't see it with my own eyes (and he's just on a PS5 with a standard controller) I would think he's cheating. Imagine what a 19 year old snorting adderall with a modded controller could do. for these reasons, I'm happy to hold a slightly above 1.0KD and almost 1.5 KDA. haha.

25 RepliesIts funny how people in this post acting like cheating don't happen. I've probably played more pvp than most people on this forum and I can tell the difference between a good player and a cheater. I can definitely say cheating has increased in this game.

6 RepliesBungie should research this thread, and threads like it. The cheaters can’t help but reply… it never fails. If I were Bungie, I would research everyone who claims cheating “Isn’t that bad”, claiming delusion on the part of other users reporting cheating as feedback, and people trolling. They always come out to deflect, dissuade, and make fun of people who’ve seen cheating. It’s 2022, the cat’s out of the bag, cheating is a huge problem and always has been.

8 RepliesA lot of it is lag. Played a guy last night who seemed to pop out and hit every headshot before a normal human being could even react. I talked with him about it and he sent me his gameplay video. We both play on different consoles. On his video I was literally standing still for a good half second so he could line up his shots and then I would react when it was too late. I sent him my video and he was shocked. On my video it look like he was shooting before he even appeared. Both of us are on next GEN consoles, both of us have high Internet speed and low latency displays. P2P and cross platform is never gonna work. The best thing you can do is just accept that it’s not perfect and move on.

I saw more cheaters on Halo Infinite in the first two weeks than I’ve seen on D2 in the past 4 months. You’re either playing better players, or your coffee shop WiFi is getting you killed.

1 ReplyI was playing the Grasp Dungeon with x2 Fellow chaps without a Mike, and Noticed one of them had Unlimited Super and Queenbreaker Rifle Shots. He got us through the Orger CP untill i Booted and reported him for Hacking. Yes, there is always a loop hole they will find.

Yes it’s an absolute joke. Only this weekend while trying to help a friend get Eye of Sol on our 7th game we happened upon a fine fellow who only plays trials. I mean their game history Is nothing but trials, 7 games then nothing till the next week. 90% sniper accuracy. 4+ kd. Oh I should also mention that they’re using a blue sniper. And have an overall triumph score of 5k. And before someone goes in about legacy triumph score. Yeah like I said…. All of it. 5k. This guy never missed a shot. Learnt using some kind of cheat. But nothing will get done no matter how many times they’re reported.

Most of those who seem to be cheating are in fact lagging. Still worth reporting, "bad connection / severe" is there for a reason. At least it'll let Bungie realise the scale of the problem they created by adding cross-play to their already broken and outdated network stack, and by removing CBMM.
