Pvp out of control and extremely unbalanced.
Just got done playing 5 games of clash.. Everyone on my team was solo players and everyone on the enemy team was at least 4 to 6 stacks all either running DMT or Lorentz driver. This kind of thing going on in this game is ruining the gaming experience and my mental state. I try to come and play this game so that I can have some sort of escape from all the -blam!- I've been through my entire life but I'm just reminded that there are people out there that just really don't give a -blam!-. Including the developers of this game.
@Bungie you claim to be advocates for mental health awareness yet what you don't realize or maybe you do realize is that you are the cause of it when you make things unbalanced like this. Now you may think I'm over exaggerating but just search the forms here and you'll find several individuals who are completely in distress over the idea that this PVP sandbox is completely unbalanced desperately wanting it to change to a balanced state.
Yet all you do is continue to add or remove more stuff to aggravate the situation even more. Would it be so much trouble to just simply balance the sandbox for PVP players. Is that really too much to ask because I think what you're doing is deliberately making it unbalanced so that people have something to talk about so that the game remains alive because bad publicity is better than good publicity right? You have new players coming and then Immediately leaving because they can't adapt to it quick enough. Nor do they want to and it's not so much the fact that they want it to be easy mode, I mean I'm sure that there are those people out there who would just love to have the one shot kills constantly and not actually have some kind of skill level in the game. But I think for the majority of us I can say that we truly appreciate a game that actually has some skill level to it.
When it's balanced I can't stop playing this game but when it's unbalanced like it is You will find many players leaving the lobbies during the matches just because their constantly being one shot killed by cheese weapons and cheese abilities and all the crutchery that goes on in this game.
I used to have a clan of a 100 members that all played this game. Since this sandbox Only 12 of those clan members now play this game. I'm sorry bungie I don't care what your statistics show in regards to how many new players you have for destiny The reality is you are losing good people that play this game because of this very problem. I don't wanna be upset anymore but I really do wish you would do something about it before somebody does something stupid that you may very well regret.
Please don't take that in a negative way. It's just when hear other players wanting to cause harm to the developers of this game or to other players cause they are all sitting in a warlock stag rift stacked with nothing but DMTs crutching their way to the light house instead of actually playing the game as it should be played, it becomes concerning. Just think about please and maybe make some positive changes.
For everyone reading this please leave your negative comments out of this post. No one really cares what you have to say anyway.

4 RepliesBungie has built a game around bullying lesser players and creating toxic attitudes that spill over into every other part of the game. These PvP players are not great at what they do, they are just allowed to exploit lesser players. And be rewarded for it. For the sake of your players mental health Bungie, start with Sbmm - or better yet remove crucible altogether.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. I despise PvP and have absolutely no desire to get good. I have a good amount of catalyst quests sitting in my quest log because I need guardian kills to complete them. It’s really annoying and drives me crazy to see them incomplete.

By acknowledging that Crucible is giving you such a hard time, [b]Then continuing to play it,[/b] you are perpetuating your own issue. Legitimately stop playing Crucible. Not saying this because "Mad 'cuz bad" but because you've already said it's causing you distress. Remove yourself from the problem and your state will improve. Hopefully if enough people realize this and do the same, the player numbers will plummet enough for Bungie to actually do something about it.

Look man, remember to have fun. If it's real sweaty and there run in and goof off. Grab heavy and blow yourself up. Point is don't take it so serious bc at the end of the day it's just a game. Sometimes I just run around and emote my team mates. Why? Bc idc about kd. Sometimes being a random blueberry birdwatching at the back of the map makes me smile. Sometimes I don't fire a single shot and just play hide and seek with the other team (oddly enough making them try and run me down just to get clapped by teammates is oddly satisfying). LeeRoy Jankins the crucible bc let's face it, d2 is not an esport and honestly, I hope it never is bc I for one ain't tryna be no pro. Make your own fun with madness and I promise you the crucible won't effect your mental health anymore. Peace, love, and hairgreese I'm out

Team and lobby balance is butts and that issue is exacerbated by very strong weapons in the right hands. If team skill were balanced, then the best would play the best and they could use the best if they like, those players know how to fight against it. Right now the best players are using the best weapons and going against people still figuring out that you don't challenge a shotgun at 10 meters with a scout rifle which makes the whole thing a giant cluster.

The only change pvp needs is skill based match making. Matching 5-25kd players against less that 1 KD players isn’t competitive, it’s just a kill fest for the better players. By matching players against other players at their level only makes it a fair and balanced sandbox. The majority 70-85%(?) of the player base avoids pvp because it’s no fun just getting one shot by elite players the entire match. Just my opinion as I am one of those players trying to get better at pvp and find I can hold my own when match against similar players.

If you're letting this game contribute or increase mental health issues, you have more important things to worry about then 6 stacks in clash.

If PVP is affecting your mental state, then you shouldn’t be playing it. I stopped playing FIFA 22 because that game was making me behave toxic towards my opponents. It wasn’t even anything that my opponents did, it was EA’s garbage servers that pissed me off. That game always sends me to the Mexican servers, and it makes the game completely unplayable for me.
