Today I started playing Destiny and I had this broccoli crash 4 times already.
Plus, sometimes the GPU usage goes very low (like 30%) and have massive fps drops and input lag. I played destiny on Sunday and I had NO ISSUES for more than 6 hours. Now, I'm crashing more than once in 1 hour. After getting the error for the first 3 times, updated my drivers just to be sure (clean install), but it didn't help (went from 496.49 to 497.29). In the last 3 days I played a lot and every other game works fine (talking about way heavier games than destiny, like Halo 5, Forza Horizon 5 and Deathloop), even now. The issue occurs ONLY while playing Destiny.
I saw some people stating this happens only while playing dares of eternity, but to me, it happened during:
-Dares of eternity
-Grandmaster Nightfall (Lake of shadows)
-Tower

This is what I've done:
-disable gamemode on windows
-tried both fullscreen and borderless
-enabled v-sync
My framerate is constantly capped at 120 and my GPU usage never goes above 50%, so destiny never was some kind of heavy load on my gpu.

1 ReplyI just upgraded from a 1070 to a 3070 and I am getting booted constantly. Even after updating all drivers. Any help so far?

Additionally I've tried fully uninstalling my drivers with DDU and getting a fresh install, but that didn't seem to fix anything. I've also tried a fully fresh install of windows, but unfortunately that didn't solve the issue either. I can run any other game in my steam library without any issues, and I'd really love to find a solution to this issue before the week is up so I can grind a Palindrome. (I'm running ag GTX 1080 BTW so I can say its definitely not a 20 series issue)

10 RepliesI am having the same issues as you and have tried the same fixes. I have also rolled back GPU drivers, verfified game cache on steam but to no avail. I have never had a problem before the latest maintenance
