Npc subclasses
Hey guys.
Does anyone know what subclasses the npcs use mainly? We know cayde was a gunslinger, ikora is a void Walker, and zavala is bubble titan. I'm assuming saint 14 is bubble as well based on what his helmet does, and Osiris is probably a sunsinger based on all the Phoenix symbolism. Im interested to know what some others are, like crow (my money is on nightstalker), shaxx (I'm thinking striker), and the drifter (honestly got no idea on him). Lmk what you guys think or if there's anything in the lore that confirms it.

4 RepliesZavala and Saint 14 are obviously Bubble because that's what they show in the cutscenes, so good observation. Shaxx, I would presume is mid-tree Solar, Crow, I see him as arcstrider, Drifter, does anyone even remember what class he is? He doesn't have a cape, doesn't have the quilt of a titan, or the dress of a warlock...but then again Eris is a Hunter with no cape

Look up byf or mylan games on yt they often have lore about who is Wich subclass btw even if they have a preference they always use different subclass

Osiris can use all subclasses. In a lore entry from season 12, he uses 6 supers at once

Cayde was also a blade dancer, zavala is a striker and sentinel Ikora a voidwalker and sunsinger The rest are seen as mere light bearers, dredgens and more Hell, a bunch of the ai around the tower in casual clothes are probably low ranking guardians themselves Stasis abilities interweaved with hive magic and vex logic, that's what you get with the present semi dredgens

Most NPC guardians can change their sub classes like us. Zavala has cut scenes showing both striker and defender Titan. Saint 14 has been sighted using all 3 light subclasses, I believe this goes for Ikora as well but not 100% sure on that one.

Drifter has solar abilities, and to find out npc subclasses you could probably just go on destinypedia.

Edited by Verke0: 1/6/2022 9:23:07 AMThey are whatever they choose to be. They can do the same as us, but dont have to go in their menus to switch. Ikora has been seen as a stormcaller as well as a voidwalker. Zavala as a striker as well as a bubble titan

Based on beyond light cutscenes the drifter is currently a stasis subclass

I’m pretty sure Crow’s a Gunslinger (or he just switches subclasses). There’s one lore card where he kills a Titan with a throwing knife.
