Any tips on getting better at M&K on PC?
May be a controversial topic for a lot of people because everyone seems to hate M&K players. I've mainly play on console but have been playing on PC since July-ish. I still play both, but more so lately on PC.
When I first started playing, I thought M&K was pretty difficult to grasp, but I'd get it with a bit of practice. I've been really lazy and playing with controller. I've gotten used to it a lot more in PvE for solo play and casual group play. Still getting used to all the keys that I have mapped and actively trying new combinations that work for me.
I know I just have to keep practicing, but do any PC players that use M&K have any tips or advice on what to do to play PvP better on M&K? My reaction time when trying PvP on M&K is absolutely abysmal. It's so fast paced that I can't process what key to hit before I'm dead five times over.

All I can suggest is what I use, Q: grenade E: interact F: melee mouse wheel click: powered melee N: air move/shatterdive, makes easy for rolling into it with a thumb movement for shatterskating :) 1-2-3: kenetic-energy-heavy 4: super G: finisher cntrl+C:stay crouched C: crouch idk, maybe try them out and see how it goes. could be its not whats comfortable to you.

Practice. There’s really no other way. I’ve been playing on pc on and off for about 20 years now and there’s always an adjustment period when switching. To get the hang of the overall feel of it you should play some single player games. Its more of a controlled environment. Once you get used to the input method than you start working on map awareness, strategies, etc.

You can reassign the keys to your liking. You are 100% right on that it can be overwhelming if you key hand is not well versed per your controls. You can always try a gaming key pad style device with the thumb stick. More organized per finger etc instead of a flat keypad made for typing. Trial and error is really it. Patrol planets and play like you want to in PvP. Take it to harder content being players are harder targets than patrol ads on planets. Keybindings are per person.. so there is no one preferred setup. Some shoot with the keypad, some shoot with the mouse… Then your sensitivity settings will change as you adapt and make your key hand muscle memory.

Go shoot dregs in patrol…. Anything to build up muscle memory Play around with sensitivity find something that works… Just a heads up Honestly controller is so much stronger than m and k in destiny I wouldn’t bother ….
