Why do some guardians appear taller than others (me)?
An awoken female titan stood next to me at the tower and appeared about a half of a head taller than my character (awoken female titan). Anyone have an answer for this?

1 ReplyThere are certain spots in the tower were you feet can clip through the floor making you about a foot shorter than everyone else.

I blame Guardian Growth Hormones - it's not acknowledged in lore, but I suspect genetic manipulation. All those weird immortal cells running through our body's trying to make us all uniform has to have messed up something somewhere. In all seriousness, it's the armor. Or steroids. Or she played in the WNBA. Or a former Olympic Volleyball Player..

Anyone have an answer for this?[/quote] It has to do with how your camera is on the model. Where your “head” is is more around your upper chest to line up w/your gun. Other stuff happens to. You notice how Zavala’s feet are now permanently infused with the floor for some reason? Yeah, that happens a lot, so that might alter your POV height. Certain armors could also give off a “taller” or “bigger” appearance.

1 ReplySome armor is a lot taller than others. For example, my Warlock Escalation Protocol helmet ornament seems like it is a foot taller than other legendary helmets like the Street Scholar helmet I have on now.

Also a few boots have a tiny heel or platform at the bottom that surely adds more height, plus some helmets can be very big. But Bungie has already confirmed that Guardians' standard in-game model, is the equivalent to 6ft / 1.80m in real life, both for female and male guardians.

Could’ve had something to do with the armor you were wearing only making it look like she was taller than you when you are actually the same height. But I don’t have a definitive answer for you.
