I know Bungie probably won't listen like they have not for years, but I need to get this off of my chest. I'm totally fine with grinding to a certain degree. I'm totally fine with not getting top notch raid gear if I can not put in the work for whatever reason. I was also kind of fine fine with focussing round about 30 engrams before I got my first Chroma Rush with Rampage (and only Rampage, not Subsistence or Range MW on top). I'm also ok with mostly getting Widow's Bite, IKELOS shot-guns and Shepard's Watch out of my engrams. Or class items. Or the constant little bugs here and there. But this rigged RNG is really driving me nuts. Getting pinnacle gear for the same effing slot over and over and over and over again is honestly the most frustrating thing I have encountered in over 30 years of gaming. Not even WoW or PoE were this frustrating. No power level gain in weeks other than the ones from leveling the artefact... The idea of only having a certain and fixed amount of opportunities to raise the power level per week is great! It takes out the "must play to progress!!1!" pressure. I will gladly do my chores each week and I try to be a good fireteam member not departing on the first or second wipe or spamming the chat with profanities if nightfall is a little bit bumpy. But honestly, this RNG shitshow just made me spend the 60 Euros I planned to spend on Witch Queen on other games. Please Bungie, fix that or at least give us an option to raise the odds to get some progress out of the pinnacle sources. Maybe focus pinnacle drops to certain slots or just distinguish between weapon or armour.
