I have thousands of mod components and rack 1000 takes up a spot in my consumables. I cannot delete a stack only singles which take 2-3 seconds each. It is so painful that I regret farming enhancement cores.

This tactic is to keep you in the game on when you get bored of deleting you go do a pvp match and get trolled then you go into a strike you have to do it on your own then you think fu*k this turn it off and go to the pub 🙏 umbassa

Those -blam!- are taking up 4 spaces in my already limited vault. Soon to be 5. Just like Anti Barrier Auto Rifle, Bungie really didn’t think this one through.
-
I'd be happy if u could exchange them for weapon parts
-
Amen to this post. I have 1200 + atm taking up two stacks. Please let me delete one stack at least !
-
4 RepliesI had an idea: Trade mod components for Upgrade Modules at like 500 components for 1 module or something like that. That would solve the component problem and give players another way to get upgrade modules.
-
5 RepliesMaterials need to have a purpose to exist at all player investment levels. If the reason they exist is gone there should be an exchange present. I don't know how this kind of stuff slips past QA and QoL passes.
-
3 RepliesWhy are people want to delete mod components? You might need them for the Witch Queen via Weapon Crafting.
-
1 ReplyOr just give us something to actually spend them on.
-
50 mods = 1 enhancement core sounds about right Bungie so make it happen.
-
And give shards or glimmer for dismantling mod components! Nothing like spending hours deleting them and getting zero in return.
-
-
It's beyond asinine that we can't dismantle Mod Components by the brick. The same exact thing is doable with Gunsmith Materials.
-
I'm scared to delete mine incase they get some type of purpose in the expansion
-
Spider should sell 1 glimmer for the price of 999 mod components just as a quick dumb fix for this issue. That’d prevent clueless new lights from purchasing by mistake too. Though it wouldn’t suck to be able to use these mod components for ANYTHING…
-
1000% agree I would give full stacks (Yes, there are mutliple) of 999 for free to random blueberries to get them out of my inventory. Honestly one of the worst materials in the game, and weapon telemetries are still a thing
-
OR….just hear me out here….OR make them actually useful
-
I 100% agree with this. Basic tasks like deleting items shouldn't be this time consuming. Also..... give me a way to turn off getting blue armor and weapons. No one wants that crap!!
-
Edited by AlteraLateralus: 12/25/2021 10:34:09 PMWe shouldn't have to ask for mod components to delete faster. Giving us that would be merely a bandaid to the actual problem. I'd like stacks of all items to go up to 9999 like planetary materials do, to save precious inventory space. But that is also just a band aid. The actual solution to this problem is to give us something useful to spend large quantities of these on.
-
We should be able to cash them in at Banshee, just like we do with gunsmith materials and weapon telemetry. Very simple solution.
-
4 RepliesI wish you could trade me all of those haha I don't have enough ever lol
-
Hopefully they’ll be of some use & value when weapon crafting debuts in Witch Queen
-
How hard would it be to add a slider? That would solve a ton of time wasting issues.
-
4 RepliesYet you can delete an entire stack of 100 raid banners. Go figure that one out.
-
Or they could add another use for mod components. They might use it as part of weapon.
-
1 ReplyI’m working on 5k. It definitely needs addressed.
-
More people should be complaining about this.
