Xur Strange Key
I received the key before rank 4. I then proceeded to discard the key as I didn’t realize I would never be able to get it back. I tried for 2+ hours to get the key to work (watched 3 YouTube videos and read a bunch of forums) none of the mentioned that the reason it probably wasn’t working was because i hadn’t actually reached rank 4 with Xur. So now I’m sitting here very disappointed and honestly— upset because now I lost an opportunity for an exotic. And everyone says well don’t discard items. How I supposed to know this was going to be the outcome?

As others have stated in your previous thread, Xur should have the key on his second page. If he does not, please provide a screenshot of your quest progress as well as the pages Xur displays.
