Hunter hood up or down toggle option
^^^Twisting Echo cloak with couturier mask
Bungie put in an option for hunter to toggle their hood up or down. The couturier mask ornament removes hoods from cloaks, I would like to be able to use any helmet with my preferred hood down.
Just to add, the main reason I brought this up is because the new grasp of avarice cloak with the couturier helmet keeps the hood on the cloak but its pulled down. All the other cloaks I’ve seen with couturier completely removes the hood from the cloak leaving it looking awkward.

honestly, I don't see the functionality in this - the amount of lines of programming this would require doesn't seem like it'd be worth the effort to implement

11 RepliesCan we also please look into adding ponchos back into the game, in Destiny there was a common Hunter Gear poncho, but more in Destiny 2 there’s only capes, please add ponchos, jackets, and jet packs. So many warlocks want something other then a dress, they want bad -blam!- jackets, some armors in Destiny use to have jet packs that made titans look like fast rockets, and hunters are tired of looking like a wimpy pretend super heroes with a blanky. We all want to look like bad assess, but most of all we all dislike each other’s style and wish for more uniqueness.

Beyond that, would a hoodless cloak (Think of Taniks' cloak form, but different styles and varients of it) be a better alternative? Between the shaders not going on Exotics, and some armor pieces being different. I'm not sure that can be applied as easily. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold. ]PS: I hope all of you have a safe and happy holidays.

I've been using one for while now that has a snake on the cloak and the other one that I know of is from one of shadowkeeps season pass orniments, the vex themed orniments

I want my Warlock wearing short jackets above the waist like a bomber jacket or a trucker jacket. I would also like my Warlock to have an option to wear scarves. And the Warlock bond can be relocated anywhere, like on the neck or the ankle for a criminal look. I want my Titan to wear Scottish quilts with bare legs, and sometimes Bermuda shorts and Vans sneakers or boat shoes. I would also like my Titan to have bigger shoulder pads taller than my helmet. Thanks!😚

Yes such an obvious thing our characters should be capable of doing, I put it in the same category as changing our characters appearance

That'd be great. I wish. But, Bungie would have to do a lot of work to fix a lot of these hoods being in the down position. Because, as it is, the vast majority of them look really bad when down. And we can't even get Bungie to make it so every portion of our exotics accept shader colors, so I seriously doubt these guys are going to want to go through the trouble of adding that functionality.

I like my hood up, but I wouldn’t mind the option being there. Alternatively: let us toggle our helmets on/off in combat zones, too. I would like to wear my hood up and walk around showing my face. I don’t know, seems like a cool idea to me. :) It is not practical in any sense, and we’d realistically die from the harsh planetary elements, but then again, Guardians like to wear shiny, glowing armor so… practical doesn’t really exist in our mentality. LOL

Edited by Scratch: 12/24/2021 7:16:49 AMSometimes I use that helmet, not because I want my hood down, but because the cape looks really cool but the hood has some crazy looking doo dad or doo hickey on it that just looks weird WINGED CONTENDER: I really like that cloak but I can't look at that hood and not think 'There's Something About Mary' and it turns me off, lol What I'd like to see is Class Item Crafting where we could combine the hood of one cloak with the cape of another. There are lots of great looking hoods with silly capes and great looking capes with silly looking hoods in this game. If you could combine the great looking hood from this cloak with the great looking cape from that cloak, well, that'd be awesome

Yes absolutely! so many design options open with that... Though more than the hoodless, id love to see a helmetless whilst in combat option. think about it, every freaking character aside us and saint14 has no helmet in combat. Id love to have no helmet in combat and im sure warlocks/titans would too!
