15 min startup and grab bounties. Join a near finished gambit match. Go to orbit. Load to gambit. Okay 2/3rds, game crashes. Come back, two more half progress games bungie forces me to play/lose. Game crashes. Before they get to primeval. It’s been over an hour. Try to play crucible. 4/5 games put me in a match halfway through, or where a score when I load in is 15-65. It’s been two hours, and when do I get to play the game?
Off-hand, I’m starting to get the point of streaming. It allows me to document the quality of the product I’m using, and after looking at the recent IGN article about bungie’s treatment of its employees, and the recent history of developers like CD Projekt Red, it’s being more discussed in academic circles I’m in where the line between responsible accountability for tendering a service and that same service’s upkeep and efficacy is more and more critical. Forced ads in our inventory spaces, increasingly monetized content (with exception to the dawning bright dust). I have no idea what really goes on behind the scenes on a monetization team but I genuinely don’t think I’d trust any of them on principle at this point. Bungie employees, look out for yourselves first.
