Forerunner quest is still bugged, even after recent patch
I abandoned my quest out of desperation when it released last week after I had aligned the 7th column, done the jumping puzzle, and the cryo-pod didn't give me an option to open it. I read the patch notes and hoped that it had been fixed, and unfortunately, it's still bugged for me. Re-abandoned and acquired the quest, still stuck on "Get a strange key from Xur", which I've already done.

I did the quest with my Titan,and was hoping for a patch from Bungie yesterday-but nothing... I did manage to get the frame,but could´nt turn it in to Bansee. Then today,I was able to get the weapon with my Warlook. I disgarded the weapon frame from inventory,got a new key (spoon) from Xur,got the quest again in the arcive in Helm,-still with a marker to Bansee,-and "blam"-now he had the option to hand over the gun to me. -Forerunner quest bug solved (for me)

They said they made it so you could get another key from xur "if you deleted the one you had" specifically...not if you need another one because your quest is bugged out... pretty lame imo edit----- nvm, there is another page apparently that has the key on it.

3 RepliesMy problem is slightly different.I´ve got the frame,but can´t interact with Bansee about the weapon.I have quest marker and all,but Bansee have nothing to offer,other than usual stuff

I abandoned the quest only to pick it back up on the previous part asking me to get the key from Xür. Which of course is no longer obtainable. I keep going back to the cryopod, hoping it will open. Sadly it won’t. No Halo magnum for Yoink 🥲
