Creating new account with same steam account?
Started playing Destiny again, sad to see my bnet progression was gone but oh well.
When I got prompted by the bungie name creation I did not realize this was unchangeable and permanently linked to your steam account? I went to unlink the account on the bungie site, but when logging in the account is still the same?
Is the only way to change my name is to created a new steam account... for just 1 game? Seems kinda ridic.

Bungie name change feature is planned to roll out this Winter. As for creating a new game file on same account, that cannot be done. Save data is permanently bound to the platform account that created it. So if all you are wanting is to change your name, I would recommend hanging on for a bit until the feature rolls out.
