New sword perk Eager Edge...
i was just playing Dares of Eternity with a few players that were using this sword and perk. i was team killed killed no less that 30 times during the session of DoE. this perk should not be shooting other players across the map into walls by troll players. wasnt long before all but 2 of the six players were doing this.. quite the shake your head moment. a bit funny and sad all at once. it may be a great perk for skating and mobility but i think bungie should take steps to limit its affect on other players in an event..

1 ReplyIf someone kills you with it more than twice, you deserve every death after those two times. There is literally no way you are moving around. Do you know how hard it is to hit someone that is running and jumping when auto-aim usually takes you elsewhere.

1 ReplyEdited by WulfPak666: 12/13/2021 1:27:16 PMAs someone who trolls his friends with it (payback for all the Behemoth ragdoll) You have to be pretty spot on to ragdoll someone to the point it kills them with Eager Edge so if you really died upwards of 30+ times during a single gameplay session it's more than likely because you were either afk or standing still most of the time. However going over your recent games across all your characters, you very rarely if at all die in Dares of Eternity. I think the most I saw was like 5 and I doubt your only death in most of those runs comes from someone trolling you with a sword. Were you killed by it, maybe. Not to the extent you claim though. No need to exaggerate. I'd be more inclined to believe you were being trolled by people team killing using the Vex head laser, which still works by the way.

I had a guy kill me 5 times with the damn thing. It’s a fun perk and all, but that -blam!- is annoying when you have a troll with the perk using it to kill you.

Hi. I've checked your history and the most deaths you ever had in DoE is 14, not "at least 30". Without name-shaming, it seems the one responsible for your death was playing with one of their clanmate. They probably thought it funny to swing people away since others in the same match died very often too. It's not something that occurs frequently still.

If you don’t play then I think it’s fine for your team to kill you. Most if not all teamkilling options have the requirement of the target to stand still.

4 RepliesI do this too. But only at the countdown timer after loot chest...so they can leave or get yeeted. Dont want to be toxic. Its fun to yeet people away. Dont ruin this one fun thing in the game just because you are easily saltified.

The swords are not the only thing that will kill team mates. The orb-laser thingies you use to drop shields and/or do damage with will also take out your team mates. The only one I have issues with though is the one that should kill them but does not. Why is it when a team mate jumps in front of me right as I shoot my GJally (or any RL) why the hell do I die and they just sprint off?!?!? PLEASE KILL THEM TOO!!Or better yet just them!!!
