Forerunner quest bugged
Hi I had an issue with my forerunner quest when I got to step 5/6. Once I had the anomalous object obtained I tried to go to banshee to to get my forerunner and all it showed wast the exotic quest item over his head. When I spoke to him it didn’t bring up the prompt yo get forerunner. So after a couple days of this problem not being solved I deleted the quest and reacquired it for it to kick me back to step 3. I already have my strange key from xur yet the quest states for me to go to him and the weird part is that I still have the anomalous object on my inventory so I should’ve been able to get my forerunner.

2 RepliesIt seems that you are in a similar pickle to myself. I was heading to the tower with the frame to talk to Banshee, and needed to refill my beverage. Got up went to the kitchen, came back and found my little boy sitting with my headset on at my PC, screwing with my keyboard and mouse in my inventory. He wound up discarding 8 Ascendant Shards as well as the frame for the Forerunner. Shards are replaceable, the frame, not so much. So now I am also stuck at step 3, without being able to get a key, and even if I do, I don't think it will mean much as the pod is already open on the other characters, so there wouldn't be anything to grab. I hope there is a fix that doesn't involve rotationally deleting all three of my characters.
