Everything below, scales up. Enemies and activities that are 1100, hit just as hard as your current level with the minimums and maximums applied to the game.
Power level is just a barrier to entry. You shouldn’t have to no life the game for weeks and months to be able to play a Master version of a Dungeon that you had to pay extra to play. That’s just ridiculous.
There are really good players that can pick up raid mechanics first try. They can then run raids flawlessly beyond that first or second run. And dungeons. Nightfalls. But a lot of adults that play your game also have jobs and families and we don’t work in the video game industry. So we don’t get to play games all day. But we do work hard for our money. And we choose to spend our money buying your content. And then you lock people out of it because even though they paid for it, you think they need to play a certain amount of time to be able to play it. Not cool.
You added champions to the game to increase difficulty. To add strategy. To add mechanics. Everyone just burns them down super quick too. Focus on mechanics. Focus on actual strategy and difficulty. Being 1335 and not even being able to do a 1360 master dungeon isn’t difficult. It’s just a stupid time sink that you for some ungodly reason think makes the game “hard”. It’s not hard. Once you hit 1350+ it’s just as easy as everything else mechanically.
This arbitrary power level grind needs to go away. If your game is good, people will play it. You don’t need to try to trick people to play. You don’t need to force them to play. Make a good game, and they will play.
