The weapons and armor in the dungeon are very desirable. Fantastic job there.
But I'd love to see adept versions of the weapons made available from master difficulty. The armor from master is already enhanced over its normal counterpart and honestly it's a pretty good idea. (More energy may have been nicer though, especially with another mod slot.)
But something like an Adept Eyasluna is something that can be invested in by the player far more than a chest piece can.

1 ReplyComing from someone who's done the master GOA, probably GMs, and master VOG also, you damn well know master GOA isn't hard enough to warrant adept weapons. The artifice armor isn't all that great either. It's tough to a degree, but almost feel like the sparrow race part can be the hardest unless you got good teamwork and a safe path. Adept gear doesn't need to be diluted as free offerings to people that don't want to tackle the hardest content. Adept weapons should stay in GMs and trials. Timelost weapons and possibly armor should be in raids. Bungie should make artifice weapons to match artifice armor for master dungeons. Seeing these wouldn't be as good as adept or timelost, but better than normal.

3 RepliesIt’s too easy for adept weapons, it’s basically master nightfall difficulty, I know it’s 1360, but it’s not very challenging, in my opinion they’d have to add a grandmaster difficulty to this dungeon to make adept weapons make sense.

3 RepliesEdited by Fish: 12/12/2021 12:48:10 AMAny content that features a harder version should also feature adept weapons. No reason not to have better loot incentive. Not that I have a god roll Timelost Found Verdict, but if I did why would I grind for a plain old Matador?

They made adept armor
-
2 RepliesI'd rather they didn't. Widening the Adept pool instead of keeping it tight causes RNG aches. If they cut down the Adept pools in GMNFs and Trials I can accept it.

2 RepliesEdited by michael: 12/11/2021 6:47:18 AMAbsolutely a missed opportunity. I 100% would go through the extra effort to farm Master mode instead of normal when farming for guns. Instead the only unique loot is a special type of armour that is useless because one extra mod slot doesnt matter if the max energy stays at 10. It should at least have gone up to like 13 or something maybe? For example, the cloak I use on my hunter in PvP has a Recovery mod and double perpetuation which is 10 energy. My PvE cloak has focusing lens and particle accelerator. I got a artifice cloak and what am I supposed to do with it exactly? Im keeping my fingers crossed that they add GM dungeons

2 RepliesI thought they would in this dungeon. All endgame should have them IMO.

2 RepliesEyasluna is so good without an Adept version. Honestly, It really doesn’t need it. It has more base range 2 less meters at Max? You’re rarely going to miss 6 ft. Especially with the movement and cover in this game. And I absolutely love the idea of an extra mod slot on the Armor. Now I’m going to go back into master and get several sets per Char. JMO though.

7 RepliesBungie clearly stated that dungeons would have adept loot when they said raids would get it. Why the dungeons master mode doesn’t give adept weapons is beyond unnacctable when they literally said it would. Those weapons won’t beat out palindrome or other options since they’re not adept. Why farm them long term?

2 RepliesGreat. Another round of catering to the have-alls to lord over everyone else. At least raid gear only had raid specific extras and not extra slots you could use everywhere else.
-
To dumb it down in a single sentence: we got adept armor instead.
-
3 RepliesIf you did the dungeon they actually drop adept mods for regular guns
-
From my experience apparently they drop adept mods. And they can go into regular weapons. I ran 1 yesterday with a friend and he got 1 to drop, and added adept big ones into his serph assault rifle. Idk if this is a glitch or something but if someone can clarify this would be great
-
15 RepliesI like adept weapons staying rare. Dungeon was pretty easy tbh.
-
2 RepliesYeah of course they found a way to Bungie this great content. Getting the same weapons in both legend and master is a pathetic joke. The weapons should at least have 4 perks so theyre easier to farm. The master dungeon is pointless. Bungie always misses opportunities with everything.
-
Honestly I would have preferred adept weapons than the armor having an extra mod slot for the seasonal mods. Most the time you're not going to have the mod capacity to even use said mods so the added slot is really useless. Scavs/ammo finders cost too much and a lot of the time people are using stat mods along with that so you're capped out pretty quickly. Toss in charged with light builds/well/warmind builds. And then in endgame stuff you're more and likely using must have champion mods.

6 RepliesIf Adept weapons are in every Master or Hard mode activity, the game will be too Saturated with them. Having it for: Raids GM's Trials Is more then enough.
-
3 RepliesThis 100% not just new Armor but make every Dungeon a Master Dungeon! Scaling with the seasons and add new Armor and weapon sets. People Will play this game forever!
-
Right now the dungeon is new and exciting and everyone will play it regardless…… After some time goes by and numbers fall, then they will introduce adept weapons to get people playing again… Bungie is the master at cutting up a kilo and stretching it
-
I do like the Adept Armor idea. The slot is desirable for some builds and armor pieces. I feel like adding more capacity would edge too hard into Power Creeping all armor, which the Devs have said before is not the intent for Adepts
-
9 RepliesThe more adepts they add, the less it feels like regular legendaries are worth.
-
We just a way to direct farm weapons feature in iron banner and dungeons.
-
I thought they even said dungeons and raids from now on would have adept weapons
-
Makes total sense! Good idea.
