Strange Key Deleted. Unable to recover
My key that i got from Xur refused to work despite me being in the right location. No interact appeared so i deleted my key hoping to get a new one from Xur. However I am unable to recover the key from any source, not Xur, not The Horse or the Abandoned Quest Kiosk.

i decided to start the anniversary stuff this week, its been a few maintenance since it came out, and this issue still exists? Just like everyone here, no matter what i do i absolutely can not/could not use the key or get it back.

I also deleted my key and actually posted yesterday hear on the forum. However, not 10 minutes ago I went to the rock formation you use the key at and after a minute or two looking and jumping around for the option to use the key, I got the prompt to come up and could actually use the key even though it was no longer in my inventory. The barrier was lifted and I found the cryo tube and got the schematic thing for Banshee and then got Forerunner. I would recommend just looking for the prompt as long as you still have the quest and it might work like it did for me.

13 RepliesHi there, Please attempt to interact with the barrier again without the key and see if you can progress. Keep in mind you need to be positioned just right for the interact prompt to appear.

2 RepliesI automatically started the quest on my Warlock upon log in. Switched to my Titan and bought key. Spent hours trying to use key so I delete key to grab again thinking it's bugged. I can't grab again. Go back on Warlock see the quest. Finish star horse bounties and I can grab the key from Xur. I am unable to fix this on my end, please help.

I have no promt to use the deleted key. I cant get through the barrier or get my key back. Can you just make it so we can re get the key again

Same here. Obviously this is a common issue. Allow Zur to resupply this darn key, or open access to the next stage if quests from the pony are done. A simple quest is a headache yet again!

Having the same issue, thought there was a bug with my game discarded the key went to pick it up again and now I can't it says I have already collected this item, I've restarted my game, abandoned the quest and re acquired the quest, went to xur still couldn't get the key, went to the area to use the key, nothing came up to interact, I also went to the barrier to see by chance if it was down. Please fix this would really like this weapon.

Having the same issue here as well. Tried abandoning and retaking the quest at the kiosk as well, still no key.
