Console cheating
Bungie help fix console cheating… too many players in pvp with modded controllers/aimbots/increased rate of fire. Reporting them doesn’t seems to help

9 RepliesAimbots dont exist on console. The “rapid fire” mod is just a full auto script like what the in-game full auto mod does, the rof cant go above the intended limit in-game.

I just putting this here as I have no idea how this person did this. (On playstation before crossplay) Was playing Gambit, when in the last chunk of getting motes to summon the primeval, we all start dying. We were just invaded but he had left after killing two of us. It was this titan, using Xeno and shooting us from their arena as we came out of spawn. After about 5-6 kills it stopped. It was around the time invaders could linger for a few extra seconds, but he wasn't the invader. Any ideas?

Edited by vinstri: 12/6/2021 12:03:56 PMIt could be lag, too. Or, it could be because crossplay isn't as fair as it is supposed to be. I've gotten feedback for reporting cheaters on console. If they determine a player you reported was cheating, they'll send you feedback.

5 RepliesI've seen videos of console cheaters. Also watched videos on the controller (very hi-tech) mods, but I've never seen a "hacker" on console myself. Now lag switch, yeah I've seen quite a bit of that lol In case you weren't aware. It's when you see a guy and he just suddenly one shots you with something that cannot one shot, like a hand cannon. (not to be mistaken for being team shot, which has the same effect) That can be a PC hacker with RoF cranked, unfortunate lag, or the guy has a lag switch. Report them. If you are very sure something is amiss then also report from your game history, AND fill out a ticket. I have an archive with hundreds of tickets I've filled out. It does work. I have tracked the game history of the most sus players I've seen, and so far they always seem to just stop playing one day xD

People flying over the map Teleporting around Invisible players Killing me with one hit People using super so many times I had one guy keep taking my screen away and kill me while i cant see. I report them but they are in my next game again so reporting doesn't do anything.
