pros & cons:

cons: not allowed to ADS while in super, weapon choices directly affect super performance, can not melee, no 3 peeking.
grenades:
#1 frag grenade: a standard, hard hitting grenade.
#2 proximity mine: toss an explosive that attaches to surfaces that detonate when an enemy comes within range.
#3 lead slinger: throw a grenade that will fire bullets erratically in the area it lands.

I once thought of this a long time ago. I like this idea; it gives off this "super soldier" type of vibe.

I greatly appreciate the idea of kinetic subclases and glad others do as well; there was a time I posted such a concept and nearly everyone found it stupid because “kinetic is not an element”.

1 ReplyJokes aside, I’ve had passing thoughts about a kinetic subclass. Abilities like a Warlock’s rift or a Titan’s barricade, or effects like Noble Rounds and overshields-that’s just pure Light, no element changes. All of these things I mentioned though, provides some kind of benefit to a player and their team. If a Kinetic subclass ever came to light, it would probably feel really redundant, but it would probably also give us the best support class, across all Guardians. Providing buffs and healing teammates constantly, and perhaps rifts and barricades are substantially larger, dodging provides stacks of Heart of the Pack and drastically bump mobility for nearby teammates (I would like to see a more physical support ability for Hunters, though). Remember Sunsinger from D1? The super drenched the Warlock with Solar Light, making them very tanky, and quickly regenerated their abilities. Then of course, there was the ability to self resurrect. I would like to see this super come back in some way, just imagine it’s pure Light instead of Solar. Woke up writing this, sorry if ideas appear scattered.

I really think a kinetic subclass would be a nice addition to the game

As a Titan main I would actually love to see this
