Here are 3 important Crucible tips

Hello Everyone I just wanted to throw in some Crucible tips I picked up over the years. This is coming from someone who plays somewhat frequently but tries not to get to serious about it. 1) Mastering one playstyle or weapon vs Being decent at all of them I remember seeing this video ranking Crucible Playstyles and I couldn't help but think, "why would people limit themselves to one playstyle?" I truly think that the best of the best players know multiple playstyles and have the ability to switch them quickly. Some people play very aggressively in pvp. They can close the gap very quickly as they have mastered the play style. They'll do well against a lot of players but then sometimes they come across some that can shut them down. It's not that they failed to use the aggressive playstyle correctly, but rather it doesn't work against the people they're facing. Think of it like rock, paper, scissors. You can have a very strong pair of scissors, this set cuts through 40 peices of paper at a time with little effort. But when they come across a regular rock, they lose. This isn't because the pair of scissors where bad, but that they were fighting a rock. The scissor people would know how to counter it because they never used paper. So just try a little bit of everything. Don't just stick to the same loadout over and over again. Sure you'll be a great shot with these guns but you'll never know of any other possible loadouts they you might like even better. Just because a good player tells you not to use a slug shotgun doesn't mean you should ever use it. As long as your having fun and experimenting with different weapons makes your a better player. 2) Have Fun The main goal of a video game is having fun. If you're not having fun and are not enjoying something then don't do it. If you want to get better you have to do it because you like to or want to, not because you feel like you have it. If you're not having fun or are always down in the dumps about trying to improve then don't do it. Hell, even if you like to use a certain gun all the time and you're having fun then do what you want to do. Even if I don't think it'll be beneficial in the long-term, you do what you want to do. Don't let a fourm post or video saying that you shouldn't use a certain gun shouldn't stop you. Each gun type in destiny has benefits and drawbacks. Handcannons are good for intial impact damage and good handling up close. Scouts are good at longer ranges but struggle up close and pulse rifles are a mixture of the two. Auto rifles have a quicker ttk then Handcannons, you wouldn't know this or take advantage of it if you only listened to people who told you to use Handcannons and nothing else to get better. This is why I like to watch coolguy. Does lots of work with making guns work and really shows off each weapon type and by doing this, he can appeal to a larger audience of guardians do to his weapon diversity. He's not the greatest player in the world but he seems content on what he does and he seems to have fun experimenting. This goes back to my point of having fun. 3) Don't beat yourself up Let's face it, they will be better players. You don't and shouldn't beat yourself up based on this inevitably. You can set a goal but you shouldn't turn it into an obsession because that's unhealthy and will just make you feel bad. Personally I'd rather be a 0.9 kd player whose content with their experience vs a 2.5 kd player whoes always trying to one up everyone and gets mad whenever they don't do as good as they wished. Ultimately just play the way you want to play and if you want to get better at pvp, reach out for advise or just watch good players play and notice what they do. Personally I watch Saywallahbruh. I really don't pay much attention to his commentary but I just watch to watch and I picked up on a couple of things.
