Anti barrier rounds actually do have some strange interactions with Skyburners that might actually ruin part of its function. The most obvious example I can think of is that it will pierce through the dome shields the Cabal make during the Proving grounds strike. Using AB rounds makes that stop working. Super niche, and there's like a few other just as niche interactions with it, but yeah. It would be nice to see old exotics be made relevant to a PvE meta. Who knows, overload Symmetry might come back someday.

I would like it to have antibarrier rounds while ads and unstoppable rounds while hipfiring. It would be the only weapon that can do 2 champion types at once, and this weapon isn’t too great in pve anyway so it probably wouldn’t be overpowered. This would also add more of a reason to switch between the ads and hipfire modes in pve, and it makes sense to be antibarrier and unstoppable since those are the 2 types that cabal have.

Agreed. Or stun cabal champions as its explosive slugs. Gun needs love.
