It comes down to the player. All have positives and negatives. A smart and skilled titan will run over teams. They will know their builds, get their buffs and exotics going and steamroll. A smart and skilled warlock is the backbone of a team. You can do some really good support options and honestly feel like a brick wall with a well synced team. Hunters are the tricks of all trades master of none. They are wily and nimble. Are you an invested iq building type of player or are you this is what I have and lets go? Investing in builds can be a lot of fun.. But you have to remember that all I mentioned above is niche. There are SO MANY damage buffs active now, that everything I mentioned above is negligible unfortunately but a committed player can see benefits and capitalize on them.

This question is just asking for trouble… you might get more responses if you asked for subclasses. Hunter the obvious best choice even though I don’t play it much.
