1. Titan melee like Hunter melee deal the same damage however Titan's being the melee class normally have bonuses where say getting a kill with a melee buffs it or an exotic that also buffs damage 2. Strength doesn't matter strength only melee ability regen it does not affect damage stats like the other stats
