Crow will use the light/ghost suppressing device on Savathun's ghost.
All that build up in the lore and him tinkering with it. It is so obvious he'll use it on Savathun, come on guys.
Read Palindrome lore too. They're focusing so much on Ghost/ Light suppressing devices through out the seasons leading to WQ.

Dang, I completely forget about the suppressors, when they could in fact be incredibly useful. Hopefully they’ll be used like this or in a similar fashion!
