Playing with Dualshock 4 on steam and it´s recognized as Xbox controller
Hey, apart from the game not recognizing my DS4 controller via bluetooth at all, now I have the problem that I have the Xbox UI layout in the game. My touchpad also acts weird as I can´t use it to open the director and pull out a sparrow for example. Steam recognizes it as dualshock 4, but destiny doesn´t.
I´ve tried:
- using DS4 Windows (same issue)
- unchecked "PlayStation Configuration Support" (controller isn´t recognized at all)
- updating drivers
- different usb cable
- screaming in a high-ptched voice
please fix.

1 ReplyThis is a steam thing, the guy below me has your solution. Next time just let steam do it's thing, it got pretty universal controller support a while back so you don't need third party software to use PlayStation controllers

1 Replyyou dont need DS4 It is a thing in Steam, mine was doing it to The trick is you have to go into Big Picture Mode and tell steam its a PS Controller This is the steps I followed Simply kill DS4Windows.exe task. Then try rebooting steam. Then when you're on steam go Big Picture Mode. Settings Controller Settings See it yourself!
