-Vex mytho (with catalyst) was buffed WITH stacking stability and damage per stack and allows for charges to remain up during stow. Along with obviously the rpm increase in both modes.
-Give Tarrabah a similar buff, bring it in line with other weapons being favoured by this sort of system
Theres nothing worse that earning a back ended rampage (energy charge up) only to have it stolen away from the weapon because you swap weapons!
-Tarrabah as of now loses all energy on stow (yes when ravenous beast is up its more powerful than rampage) but the requirements to keep its uptime going is you must continually be doing damage, which simply enough can end the streak just by not doing more damage. This is especially amplified since this doesnt get up time via shooting glacial units/barricades/bubbles/well of radiance, this kind of buff im suggesting doesnt make its uptime or itself OP, it means you MUST be aggressive with your play, just as aggressive as you already were using it but with a grace period IN SOME MANNER!
-OR, make it actually OP and just give it a full time period where ravenous beast is up for longer and must be re-achieved, similar to how earlier lord of wolves was
I fully understand removing the ravenous beast buff when you swap, but the precursor energy storage, COME ON! Give this raid exotic some love too! Hell even if it was something like a “reduced energy over time while stowed”
Its release season it was over shadowed by recluse, now it’s overshadowed by weapons like shayura’s and even huckleberry
Give this raid boy some love bungie!

I'm all for tarrabah getting a catalyst. but letting it hold its charge is insane. Give it more range and rangefinder 🙃🙂
-
Only issue is how insane it would be in pvp
-
I wanna see a buff to the perk that resets Ravenous Beasts timer with each kill
-
1 ReplyTerrabah is actually quite powerful, the only issue this exotic literally has is the charge going away after a swap. The build up should not go away if the player is swapping to use another weapon, at least not before reaching its peak.
-
4 RepliesAll you need for Tarrabah is give it a catalyst that gives it +5 recoil direction and allows it to hold its charge when stowed, but can’t gain energy while stowed.
-
1 ReplyIt’s already a best in slot imo it really doesn’t need a buff if you use it the way it’s intended. Use it as a main gun and don’t swap unless absolutely necessary ie a super chasing you down. You should have the gun drawn 90% of the match, if you’re swapping a lot then yeah it seems under powered because you’re not consistently getting ravenous beast. To be honest the only thing I could see a catalyst adding that doesn’t break the gun is subsistence but even then that makes it on the stronger side of things.
-
Terrebah is already a top 3 smg. If it got a cat that let it keep its charge it would be so oppressive it’s not even funny
-
8 RepliesTarrabah has been good since it was released. One popular said it was terrible at the time and now people have since blindly believed that it’s a bad gun despite ever using it. Try it out and you’ll see the gun is amazing.
-
2 RepliesListen... have you even used the weapon?? I’m all for a buff but does it really need one?
-
If your going to compare guns do they need to make ace so it holds the buff? If there is something you want just ask like a grown up. Comparing one gun to another separate instance and claiming they should all be treated the same is a flawed argument.
-
No need to buff an old raid exotic. Let's focus on the here and now. Have them make new good weapons for their new content.

4 RepliesEdited by FL00FING AB0UT: 11/7/2021 7:28:40 PMI’m sure there’s a very specific reason it hasn’t been. Tarrabah is a little known gem in Crucible that is ALREADY a monster. There was a stat about how Bungie tunes “broken” weapons. Vex (getting a nerf) had something like 21% higher kill to use rate, Tarrabah was 31%. Meaning, Tarrabah is already arguably too strong. (Not asking for a nerf, I just don’t think you understand why they’re hemming and hawing about it)
-
Edited by WormChi: 11/8/2021 4:47:30 PMWhile that would be nice it may be to good. Ravenous Beast is way stronger than Rampage. It would 100% be the meta if you could swap weapons and keep the charge. Think more Ace of Spades and less Vex Mythoclast. Edit: OP edited his post without acknowledging it. He originally compared Ravenous Beast to Rampage thus my above statement. OP if you’re going to edit a post people are responding to you need to put a disclaimer that you did so.

3 Repliesno if they do that then tarrabah will become the most busted weapon in the game overtime, way more than vex is rn
-
26 RepliesIf they do that they’d have to nerf ravenous beast. If they didn’t the gun would be broken in crucible.
-
Careful what you ask for
-
3 RepliesHow about we let people get Vex Mythoclast to begin with?
-
2 RepliesRavenous beast makes tarrabah have 0.2 TTK, the fastest TTK for a primary. It takes a kill and a half to get ravenous beast. It requires skill to use and a learning curve. If it didn’t you will be complaining relentlessly. I was in a IB Lobby where a dude dropped 60 defeats using tarrabah, it is perfectly fine where it’s at.
-
It’ll probably come with its catalyst whenever that drops
-
9 RepliesThen ravenous beast would have to be nerfed but t else it would become the meta
-
7 RepliesSorry. While I think it’s a good idea, I downvoted because you don’t know the difference between looses and is losing. It just irritates me how many people don’t know the difference between loose and lose. It’s like when people say ‘I could care less’ but the proper say is ‘I couldn’t care less’. Anyway, my rant is over, have a great day!
-
A nice change would be to have it lose energy slowly over time when it is stowed. It’s already incredible. That would just help it be more friendly to use.
-
I love my Tarrabah and always have it on hand just incase the map requires some CQC fights, i think the Catalyst should be increased Stability and the ability to store the weapon with its current DMG perk/Progress. Right now if you stow the weapon you lose the damage progress, just have the catalyst retain that progress when you stow it.
-
4 RepliesEdited by SneakyToddler: 11/7/2021 7:19:39 PMI think this would make the weapon absurd in the crucible, don’t get me wrong I love tarrabah, but it would be a little crazy Edit I spelled tarrabah wrong
-
It needs to not loose charges when stowed and have a better reload/ rav beast proc animation. As it is it feels alittle clunky.
