Exotic chiper issues
Six weeks ago I purchased an exotic cipher from xur The quest did not show up in my available quests ice checked all characters I checked all characters inventory I did not currently have an exotic cipher nor do I currently have one I cannot purchase another exotic cipher quest I even created a new character and tried to purchase one so I could purchase them with my other characters the following week and still is not working I need somebody from support to contact me because I have now lost out on seven weeks worth of exotic ciphers in Cano longer by weapons with them

Can you provide a video of creating a new character & checking at Xur on the new character?

Have you checked to see if it is in the quest archive in the Tower? The quest archive kiosk is right next to the Postmaster. Check that kiosk on each of your characters.

The Xenology quest does not go to the Queen Archive kiosk if abandoned. If this applies to your issue, the only workaround is to pick up and complete the quest on a character who hasn't abandoned it previously.
