Whether it's crucible or iron banner there's no gun fights anymore. It's just one hit fusion rifles/shotguns or whatever. There's no enjoyment or excitement in crucible when everybody is just one shot killing each other. You either join in or accept that you will constantly be at a disadvantage and have to suffer through each match. I've already abandoned Any plans of playing iron banner after finishing a game where every time I died it was to a one hit weapon. It's just torture trying to get through a game. Other than having to play 3 games for pinnacle gear I go out of my way to avoid PvP when it was an aspect of the game I used to love. A mode where one hit weapons aren't allowed would be ideal as I don't see any way this could be fixed otherwise.

6 RepliesIt's not that various special ammo weapons kill in one shot, because that's what they're supposed to do when used correctly, it's these factors: - Special Ammo economy in PvP is too generous. Everybody starts with it and they drop on kills, so they cycle every spawn wave. Special Ammo should be wall spawns at half the rate of Heavy Ammo. Notice people aren't dying left and right to heavy weapons. Or just remove them from kills so everybody has one clip of special ammo per spawn. - Destiny PvP maps are relatively tight. They don't look cramp from observation, but in practice with people double jumping and sliding around the maps become small and sudden close quarter encounters are often. Ideally PvP maps should all be like the old Combined Arms maps. - The radar also helps players with shotguns since you can't make an informed play against a red slice of pizza. - Sniper rifles are very low risk. - Jutonn is just a mechanically bad idea, essentially a rocket launcher from special ammo.
