I posted yesterday about my ban after 7 years of playing this game but have gained additional evidence to support my appeal. I've seen that submitting multiple claims can result in further suspension and do not want to cause more trouble but believe this evidence will help get my account back. The reason for the ban was my clan name but I believe it was unfair and incorrect. No hate speech is in the name or bio and I believe bungie made the mistake of thinking it was. If there is a way for me to further support my claim please let me know how to do this.

The Bungie forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. Please review the ban or restriction appeal contact form https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049024492-Contact-Form-Appeal-Ban-or-Restriction Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned. For more information on Bungie's policy regarding bans and restrictions, please review the policy https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049517431

We do not ban players for simply having cheat tools installed, but do ban for running them while playing Destiny 2. We do not differentiate between cheat tools for Destiny 2 and cheat tools for other games because it would be easy to avoid a ban by making a Destiny 2 cheat tool that pretends to be a cheat tool for another game. Make sure you turn all cheat tools off before running Destiny 2 and you won’t have to worry about bans.
(source)

3 Repliesdoesnt natter what you say or do if you are VAC banned you are not getting your account back its start over time . I have not seen or heard of a single person who has been banned get their account back.

3 RepliesI’ve never heard of them outright banning an account for a clan name. If a clan name is deemed inappropriate they simply change the clan name. There has to be more to the story…

26 RepliesIf you were banned for a clan name it must have been a real bad clan name considering you only started it 2 weeks ago. Does the game say “not so fast” when you log in?
Suspensions are 30-60 mins This is for leaving matches Restrictions are 2 weeks - 2 months and the 2 months are repeatable. This is for an unstable connection. Ban is permanent which means forever and will not be removed. These are for cheating and include any of the following. Having cheat programs for a game open also includes trainers. Macros trying to avoid AFK detection. Programming tools that inject code. Any form of network accelerator for manipulating a network. Win trading, ghost lobbies, and account recoveries this is just some of the more common.
