My cross save account isn’t working
I have an account on Steam and Xbox. I originally played on Xbox, then moved to steam and recently got an XBX and moved back. It shows my cross save is active but I can only pull my steam info. This is the case when I’m trying to create a LFG post as well. I just left my clan and can’t join another. Just looking at using the tools available. I’ve went through all my settings and feel they are good to go. Any help would be appreciated.

2 RepliesYour cross-save is setup with your Steam account as the active set of save data, which is why those are the characters you are able to access. By choosing your Steam account as the active save, your Xbox character data is dormant and inaccessible at this time. As you are using your Steam characters to play the game, you would join a clan with your Steam characters, and LFG posts will indeed use your Steam characters. Your Xbox characters have not been played in 3+ years, so it’s unlikely that you would want to switch to using that data to play the game. Your Steam based characters are who you’ve been playing all this time, and they have all your progress. So you would likely want to continue using them going forward, regardless of what platform you now choose to play on. If you choose to activate cross-save with D2 you will have the ability to choose from one of your PLATFORM saves so that it can be used on all platforms moving forward. For example: Xbox has characters 1/2/3 PSN has characters 4/5/6 PC/BNet/Steam has characters 7/8/9 And you choose the PSN characters then it becomes Xbox has characters 4/5/6 PSN has characters 4/5/6 PC/BNet/Steam had characters 4/5/6 You won't be able to access characters 1/2/3 and 7/8/9 when Cross-Save is active. In order to access characters 1/2/3 and 7/8/9 cross-save needs to be disabled.
