Leaving a trials match early needs a penalty
You know who you are, leaving matches early cuz either you get absolutely embarrassed and wrecked or you think ur too good for your teammates, either way, it’s bs.
Bungie, heres what you need to do:
1. Leave early once, no penalty (always could be an error)
2. Twice, 10 min timeout
3. Three times, 1 hour timeout
4. Four times, gtfo for whole day
anyone that argues this is either a coward for leaving games, or hasn’t been affected by it.
Edit: I’m aware there is already a short penalty, I’m asking for a more severe penalty to hopefully cause some players to hesitate to do it

After 6 full games it will reset back to a warning. 1st = warning 2nd = 30min 3rd = 1-2 hours 4th = 24 hours Instead, it needs to reset only after the week ends and not after 6 full games. But even then, players will just jump off the map every remaining round (this happened to me 3 times last weekend).

2 RepliesHad a game where it was 3-3 Enemy team won that round because my teammates couldn’t kill one dude and I wiffed I killed two and they rushed last one btw. Anyway they both gave up because it was last round One dude leaves I was standing there like you both have combined kills of 3 I have 10 or more Dude messages me saying he left because I suck Me there looking at his 1 kill

6 RepliesI’m not saying it is right but people are sick of an unbalanced, unhealthy PVP mode. It was never like this before and it is in part lack of talent and leadership at Bungie. They are lost when it comes to PVP.

Leave your first match, get a 30 min suspension. That's what happens now. If your stay/leave ratio is off, you get 30mins on the bench. Always.

theres already a penalty for leaving, you get timed out of trials for 30 mins

Who cares, pvp needs to be removed from that game. If someone get thrown to 3 stacks, then they can quit.

Having a mix of aggro and passive players is gonna do this. Something better players learn is in those situations you can let them run in and die and get salty or go in with them and at least try to make their mistake work. A lot more situations are winnable than you’d think when you adapt to how your teammates are playing. Being a good teammate doesn’t require comms just awareness but that’s severely lacking in solo trials player pools since a lot of below average players populate it

Sometimes ppl just leave and say eff it I'm done with trials. There are penalties, you just want more severe ones lol. While I agree is B.S. that some leave just because its 0-1 or 0-2 but doesnt need any more penalties, by the end of the day you still need some scrub like that here and there to get a quick win lol

Penalty should be strong for those who actually whip out their ghosts and leave. Especially during mid-match, not at end of match just before scoreboard is shown. Sometimes server error happens that not related to player's ISP. I got penalized just cuz Sony's server was really bad one day while my internet worked perfectly fine.
