Known Issue: Increase in Rutabaga Errors
A group of individuals discovered and reported an issue where players can generate more orbs than intended when triggering some supers. The team has been working on a fix for this, currently targeting December for release.
To prevent exploitation of this issue, the team has deployed some changes that will force Rutabaga errors when players attempt to reproduce the bug. With this change, we are also aware that players who experience extreme sustained framerate hitching in PvP environments may encounter this error more frequently than normal.
If you encounter Rutabaga errors when playing in PvP environments for reasons other than reproducing the orb generation issue, please respond to this thread with details on what you were doing when the error occurred.

With a little editing and imagination, we can take "Rutabaga" and arrive at... Garbage.

4 times now that this has happened to me for no reason. Twice in trials due to a dip in my framerate because of grenades and stasis shattering. Twice in rumble. One time because i alt tabbed out of destiny 2 and another because of a grenade hitting me and reducing my framemrate. I am playing on the lowest settings possible graphically

is the error triggering in every activity, even social spaces? and will it occur until the fix? if yes then my alt tabbing habit will ruin everything and it's clearly right time to take a good few months break from the game

I got the error in the middle of shooting my shotgun... felt sorry for people I just left. :/

Can you investigate the Passage of Mercy? I'll lose a match after resetting my Card, but it'll say I've lost Flawless even though that was my first lose on a Mercy card. Not sure if this is happening to anyone else.

All i did was try to sprint forward and i got "time skew maxed" and Rutabaga'd Edit: tried again and got to the prime-evil, supered to kill the envoys and got kicked again. Plz fix. Getting pretty pissed off

Am I glad I am not playing on pc. Some people are exploiting this intentionally and others not. But in both cases, there is a chance of bans.

People that did nothing wrong, considering the replies below. Way to go Bungie!

2 RepliesJust got Rutabaga error coded when alt-tabbing to Discord while loading into a Trials match. Had a 3 win Confidence passage flawed because of this error. Genuinely so frustrating. Otherwise a stable 100-144 in-game.

Me and my friend we encounter this error code when we tryed to win a duel mid round in trials of osiris.

I was attempting to stream a trials match for a friend on discord, and ended up getting the error code during a teamfight.

1 ReplyThis error occurred for me when switching from windowed to fullscreen. It also caused me to lose a trials match as I was unable to rejoin.
